2005 Cabernet Sauvignon: SOLD OUT !

The premium red wine variety for the Clare Valley. The grapes were picked late in 2005 and produced a big, full flavoured red; despite being from young vines.
Allow to breathe for 1 - 2 hours.
This wine has great cellaring potential and will benefit from a few years in storage before opening.

2006 Shiraz:

A dry wine this year. Strong tannins on the end palate. Good colour and good bouquet.
This wine is fantastic with barbecued ribs.

2006 Cabernet Sauvignon:

A good year for Cabernet. Great fruit flavours. Incredible purple colour with liquorice overtones on the nose.
A lighter style to enjoy with lunch.

2006 Shiraz/Cabernet:

70% Shiraz and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. Nice fruit flavours, amazing colour and a soft finish. Great for that weekend barbeque, an evening meal, or just a drink on it's own.
Fantastic to drink now, but still with cellaring potential.

Clare Valley Shiraz is challenging Cabernet as the premium red variety for the region. Kilikannon's 2001 ‘Oracle' Shiraz won International Wine of the Year in London in 2004 and this has been followed just this year by Jim Barry's 2003 ‘McRae Wood' Shiraz winning the same award.
Allow to breathe for 1 - 2 hours.
Drink now or good cellaring potential.

2006 WINE RANGE

Winemaker: Neil Paulett

The 2006 range was produced in a year of extreme temperatures and drought. This has created wines with strong tannins and full flavour. The tannins indicate a long-lived wine which will have tremendous cellaring potential. The tannins have softened over the last year to produce a well structured lighter wine with a soft end palate and incredible colour.

2008 Cabernet Sauvignon:

A lean smooth Cabernet this year. It draws its flavour into the centre of your mouth and lingers right through to the end leaving a hint of herbs and something earthy.

2008 Shiraz:

A beautiful big soft red that has a rich fruity bouquet. A hint of chocolate and a smooth finish make this a great wine to drink now and cellar for future enjoyment.

As usual this classic Aussie blend brings the best out of both varieties and combines them into a wine that says "Australia". The Blend never seems to disappoint.
